BASF opens PU technical center in Pakistan
The facility houses a wet lab, dry lab, and a foam-cutting area. It will offer customer support services ranging from trouble-shooting to customised formulations, line trials, and customer training sessions for polyurethane applications in diverse industries, including home appliances, furniture, construction, footwear, and transportation. BASF has been present in Pakistan for nearly four decades. In 2012, the company posted sales of EUR 120 million to customers in Pakistan and had more than 154 employees in the country.
