QATAR: IQ confirms early planning by Qapco for additional low-density PE plant
In late-2012, Qapco inaugurated a 300,000-t/y LDPE plant, known as LDPE 3, in Mesaieed, Qatar, boosting its total LDPE capacity to 700,000 t/y.
IQ stressed that the planning phase for this new project “is subject to material change, or cancellation.”
