Luvomaxx partner JianXi Black Cat opens new furnace black production plant

The Chinese company JiangXi Black Cat has recently opened its eighth production plant for furnace black in Jining, Shandong province.

Just back from his last trip to China and a visit to the JianXi Black Cat plant in HanCheng City, ShaanXi province, Karl-­Heinz Teschke, Head of the Luvomaxx business at the Hamburg-based company Lehmann & Voss & Co. KG (LuV), reported on the commissioning of an eighth furnace black plant of partner JiangXi Black Cat.

The new plant in Jining, Shandong province, will initially start production Mid-March 2014 with two production lines, each with 40,000 t/y capacity of highly reinforcing furnace black. Another production line for highly reinforcing furnace black as well as a line for semi-reinforcing furnace black will start up by the end of 2014.
