TSRC Dexco announcing new Vector capacities

TSRC Dexco recently started up its new SIS plant in Nantong, China.

TSRC Dexco recently started up its new SIS plant in Nantong, China.

In April 2011, TSRC completed the acquisition of Dexco Polymers. This acquisition represented an important step in TSRC’s global expansion strategy and transformed the Taiwanese company into one of the top global players in the SBC business.

The company now announced capacity increases for their Vector products, an SBS and SIS product family developed by Dexco. The recent start-up of the new SIS plant in Nantong, China, marks the first production of Vector products outside the Unites States. The company said it plans to build similar capacity in Taiwan to start up in 2016.

At Chinaplas 2014 the company will inform about its extensive portfolio of styrenic block copolymers, including the Vector and Taipol SBS and SIS products, as well as Taipol SEBS, the second generation of hydrogenated SBCs with enhanced durability and functionality features. The company furthermore invites visitors of Chinaplas to attend a technical conference on the 24 April.

Vector styrenic block copolymers offer high-performance properties, along with excellent purity and consistency. TSCR Dexco offers Vector in a wide range of formulations and customised blends.

The Taipol line of polymers are proven performers, particularly in the adhesive industry, as well as for use in plastic modification, consumer goods, building seals, household goods and industrial supplies.
