Personnel changes at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies

On 1 January 2012, José Caro, 51, has taken over the lead of the global Simrit business at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies as new Head of Global Simrit.

Caro has been with Simrit since 2005. In his last position he has served as Sales Director Europe/Export. He succeeds Dr. Jan Gupta, 44, who has been successful in setting up the Simrit business worldwide over the last eight years. Gupta has taken on the position as Head of Global Oil Seals Division at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies as of 1 January 2012. With this, he will lead the biggest division within the company with more than 5,000 employees across 14 sites worldwide.

He succeeds Dieter Schäfer, 55, who has joined the management board of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies as Chief Operations Officer on 1 January 2012. In his new post, he assumes responsibility for Operations, Lean, SCM, and Procurement. With his appointment, the management board of the company will once again have four members – Dr. Ralf Krieger switched to the management board of the Freudenberg Group on 1 October 2011.
