Rukes and Sparenberg appointed to new positions at Albis Plastic

On 1 February 2012, Hans Rukes, 52, took over as General Manager of the Turkish subsidiary of Albis Plastic GmbH in Istanbul.

Before he has held various positions of responsibility at the Hamburg-based distribution and compounding company, managed the distribution business at Albis for several years, and most recently led the Technical Compounds division, which manufactures and markets the company’s own brands. His successor is Bernd Sparenberg, 46. He has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical industry and held various management positions in sales and marketing at plastics producers, such as Hoechst, Ticona and Topas Advanced Polymers. Prior to his new role at Albis, he was heading the Rubber, Plastics, Adhesive/Sealant and Lubricant business at Albis’ sister company Krahn Chemie GmbH.
