Teknor Apex appoints new TPE sales and marketing managers

Louis Freitas

Teknor Apex has named three new TPE sales and marketing managers. Louis Freitas is now market manager in charge of the distribution network in the Americas for the company’s TPE products. He has held engineering positions with DSM Thermoplastic Elastomers and Telles/Metabolix, and worked in distribution sales for EMS-Grivory America. In nine years with DSM, Freitas focused on the Sarlink TPV product range, now owned by Teknor Apex. He holds a bachelors degree in plastics engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Paul Kin

Pat Pignataro

Paul Kin has become automotive account manager and is based in the Detroit area. He has 22 years of plastics sales experience in the automotive industry, serving as account manager, first with Phillips Plastics, then with Chevron Phillips Chemical. Kin holds two bachelors degrees from Ferris State University, one in plastics engineering and the other in business.

Pat Pignataro is named manager for consumer and industrial markets. His 13 years of plastics industry experience includes sales, business development, and product management roles with Saint-Gobain, Lubrizol, PolyOne, and Steris Corp. He holds a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Cleveland State University.
