CPI upgrades www.polyurethane.org website

The clean, new design gives www.polyurethane.org the same look and feel of the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) main site, which makes it easier for visitors to access the resources of www.americanchemistry.com when they visit the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry's (CPI) site.

“Last year, CPI conducted a critical evaluation of its website, and in response updated a majority of its content to prepare for redesign. The new site has more up-to-date content, better imagery, a more intuitive navigation, a sleeker design, and faster page loads,” explained Marie Francis, Manager, Product/Panel Communications, ACC. The new design also integrates social media tools, making it easier to share information as well as communicate with target audiences on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, ACC’s blog, or via e-mail.

These changes altogether enhance the user experience. The navigation better reflects audience expectation as well as CPI’s priorities, making it especially easy for visitors to use CPI’s vast library of free resources. The Spray Truck Bedliner site has been integrated into CPI’s new design, making this information more centralised and easier to access.

Technically speaking, CPI is also now using the latest analytics tool. By upgrading to Adobe’s SiteCatalyst 15, CPI’s team can analyse a wealth of information and statistics to continually improve the website experience.

The new CPI site went live on 25 January 2012 and feedback thus far has been very positive. Over the next year, visitors can expect to see enhanced content, including more graphics, data visualisation, videos, and additional resource documents.
