Registration now open for Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference

The Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference will be held by the Center for the Polyurethane Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) from 26 – 28 September 2011 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, USA. Registration for the conference is now open at www.americanchemistry.com/polyurethane.

"With a range of industry leaders and professionals from around the world together in Nashville, conference attendees will hear about the latest issues and research from the best in the industry."

Featuring more than 60 technical presentations, the Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference provides leaders and professionals with an opportunity to hear about the latest innovations, technical developments and issues affecting the global polyurethanes industry. This year's sessions will feature topics including appliances and cold chain; automotive; coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers; chemistry and fundamentals; construction; elastomers and footwear; environment, health and safety; flame retardants and combustibility; flexible foams; processing innovations; and renewable content polyols.

Throughout the conference, attendees will examine and discuss the current state of the industry from regulatory and environmental issues to advances in technology and chemistry. CPI will also offer its Polyurethane Professional Development Program with course topics ranging from introductory polyurethane chemistry and technology to physical testing and raw materials. In addition, CPI will present its annual Innovation Award and host tabletop exhibitions where companies can showcase their products.
