Repsol launches enhanced range of polymeric polyols

To reduce the total volatile content by up to 40 % was the goal Repsol Chemicals set itself for the enhancement now launched for its Alcupol P range of conventional polymeric polyols for the comfort sector. This improvement principally affects Alcupol P3041, and therefore the whole derived range such as: Alcupol P3621, P3921, P4181, and P4311, says the company.

With this reduction in volatiles, Repsol says it has taken another step in compliance with the most demanding certifications applied to the comfort sector in terms of finished product emissions. These certification bodies work constantly to ensure low emissions of the products marketed under their labels in order to guarantee the highest interior air quality (CertiPur and the German Oeko-Tex certification). According to the company, this improvement again emphasises the fact that all these environmental criteria are taken into account not only by Repsol’s strategy, but by all its activities and throughout its products’ life cycles.
