Perstorp extends 2-EHA capacity

Perstorp is extending its capacity for 2-EHA in Europe as well as in Asia by establishing production at the group’s manufacturing unit in Singapore, where PIA is produced. The capacity increase, planned to be up and running in 2013, will amount to 40,000 t/y.

The company is currently  producing 2-EHA at its production facility in Stenungsund, Sweden. 2-EHA is used in applications such as safety glass, synthetic lubricants and corrosion inhibitors in engine coolants.
