DKT 2012: Premiere of the TPE Forum

The extensive lecture programme of the DKT conference includes a two-day TPE forum, held from 3-4 July (room Amsterdam). The concept of the TPE Forum has been developed in cooperation with the Technical Committee of the VDI unit “Engineered polymer materials”, which was responsible for the programme.

This cooperation on occasion of DKT 2012 is said to be the first step towards an increasing exchange with the aim to identify the synergistic potential that undoubtedly exists between rubber and thermoplastic industries and to benefit from it. The tradition of the former VDI TPE conferences, held in New Ulm, is said to be continued at the new location Nuremberg and with an enlarged target audience that includes attendees from both industries.

The Technical Committee already announced the next event in this series: a conference on “Multi-component technology and material adhesion” (16 to 17 April 2013, Maritim Hotel, Nuremberg)
