The compounds of the DW series meet all key requirements for products that are in direct contact with drinking water.
Another focus is on Hipex, the high temperature and media resistant TPVs which can withstand exposure to temperatures of 170 °C over several days; continuous use is possible at temperatures around 150 °C.
The company recently introduced Copec TPEs. These products are combining velvet or silky haptics with a skin oil resistance and exceptional adhesion qualities to ABS, PC and PC/PBT, which makes them suitable for applications, such as entertainment electronics.
The new Fortec-E compounds combine chemical resistance with an optimised adhesion to PA6.6, properties that are required for applications in E&E (power tools, plug connections, etc.)
The company will present two lectures at the TPE Forum:
“High Performance TPVs”, Dr. Martin Geissinger
“New TPEs for Applications in Contact with Drinking Water”, Hartmut Arheidt.
Kraiburg TPE exhibits together with its sister company Gummiwerk Kraiburg.
