Velox

Velox will highlight at DKT benefits of the additives of the Spanish company Avanzare. They have been developed for use in coloured compounds and ESD systems. The products are marketed under the brand name avanstatic.

Functional additives based on organometal complexes provide high efficiency at low dosing. They ensure permanent conductivity in the ESD area. With only 1-5 phr of avanSTATIC rubber a volume resistivity in the megaohm range can be realised, says the company. Alternatively there is a dispersion (avanSTATIC plast) available.

The avanSTATIC PU-ol, PU-water, PU-MEG as well as TPU MB products are available for use in PU, PU foam and TPUs. Coloured PVC compounds in the ESD area can be precisely customised with avanSTATIC PVC and avanSTATIC PVC TEP. Here, the TEP as a synergist increases the conductivity in the substrate.

Velox is active in the marketing and distribution of speciality raw materials for the plastics, rubber, paint and coatings industries. The Hamburg-based company markets the Avanzare additives in the whole of Europe.
