Call for papers: PFA Technical Program November Meeting
Technical papers summarising recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues, are encouraged. Papers must have a non-commercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible polyurethane production in North America.
A maximum of eight presentations, each 30 minutes in length, will be scheduled for the November meeting. A short summary (abstract) of the intended content must be submitted with your request to make a presentation. Based on a programme that includes at least six technical papers, the presentations will be scored to compete for a USD 500.00 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.
The Fall PFA General Business Meeting and Technical Program will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA, USA, from 4 – 5 November 2010.

The PFA, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, was founded in 1980 to educate customers and other groups about flexible polyurethane foam (FPF). This includes providing facts on environmental, health and safety issues and technical information on the performance of FPF in consumer and industrial products. The PFA membership includes United States FPF manufacturers and their suppliers of raw materials, processing and fabrication equipment, and various industry services.
