Spindler appointed R&I Director for Solvay Silica

Solvay has announced the appointment of Jean-Francis Spindler, as Research and Innovation Director for the Silica Global Business Unit. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Organic Catalysis in 1990 from Claude Bernard University and joined Rhône Poulenc as a Project Manager within the Research and Development function.

Spindler progressed through various scientific and management roles including most recently R&D Director for Rhodia Organics and R&I European Zone Director for Rhodia and then Solvay.
